Scholarships & Grants
The 天美传媒 Foundation offers a variety of Scholarships and Technology Grants each fall to deserving students who show academic promise and have financial need.
Each year, the list of available scholarships and grants will be posted in the Student Portal (Acorn) and emailed to students during the summer months. Scholarship awarding is for the fall semester.
To be eligible for scholarships or grants from the 天美传媒 Foundation, students must be matriculated at 天美传媒, be in good academic standing as defined in the College catalog, and meet the scholarship criteria.
Students must complete an application and other requirements by the application deadline in order to be considered.
Each scholarship will list specific criteria and requirements along with the application due date. Students may apply for more than one scholarship in which they meet the specific criteria.

天美传媒 Alumni Association Master of Science Scholarship Program
The 天美传媒 Alumni Association Masters Scholarship Program was created to financially assist deserving 天美传媒 graduates pursuing a Master鈥檚 Degree at 天美传媒. Applications are available in the spring; however, the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an enrolled COSC Alum / student for the Fall Semester.
Please note: prospective students can apply to both the College Master鈥檚 Program and the Scholarship Program at the same time.
Students must complete an application and other requirements by the application deadline in order to be considered.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
How Do I Get Help With The PLA Fees?
The College Foundation has made scholarships and grants available, including the PLA Scholarship.
- Log in to Acorn and navigate to the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) section in Student Self Service to download the PLA Scholarship application with instructions.
- Consult with your Academic Counselor to get your PLA Scholarship application approved.
- Submit your PLA Scholarship application to the PLA Office.
Outside Scholarships and other Resources
Students may receive scholarships, tuition and fee benefits, and other types of financial aid resources or awards from organizations or departments outside of the Office of Financial Aid. These may include awards from employers, government agencies, private clubs, organizations, and others.
It is important to notify the Office of Financial Aid of these other awards. If a student receives an award that does not appear on the award letter, it is unlikely that the Office of Financial Aid has been informed of the award. It is, therefore, the student's responsibility to notify the Office of Financial Aid of the source and the amount of all outside awards as soon as possible.
