Connecticut Parenting Educator Credential
Connecticut Parenting Educator Credential
The Connecticut Parenting Educator Credential, developed in collaboration between 天美传媒 and the CT Parenting Education Network (CT-PEN), provides a means to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for all professional parenting educators to possess. The Credential is based on a core set of competencies including the CT-PEN Code of Ethics for parenting educators and the National Extension Parenting Educators' Framework (NEPEF) which focuses on a set of priority practices for parents and serves as the basis for parenting educator skills. The Credential has four levels of proficiency which are based on levels of education, training and on-the-job experience. All applicants must be current members of CT-PEN (CT Parenting Education Network).
