The student must be nominated by an instructor, counselor, or administrator at the attending community college. Students must complete an application and nomination form by the May 1st application deadline in order to be considered.
For additional information, please contact Admissions.
Outside Scholarships and other Resources
Students may receive scholarships, tuition and fee benefits, and other types of financial aid resources or awards from organizations or departments outside of the Office of Financial Aid. These may include awards from employers, government agencies, private clubs, organizations, and others. If a student receives an award that does not appear on the award letter, it is unlikely that the Office of Financial Aid has been informed of the award. It is, therefore, the student's responsibility to notify the Office of Financial Aid of the source of all outside awards and the amount as soon as possible.
