Software Development Bachelor's Degree Program

New! Bachelor of Science in Software Development 鈥� ideal for those with an aptitude for information technology, problem solving, math and science.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of software development with our new Software Development major. Students in this program learn to work with a diverse range of programming languages, mobile and web technologies, web application frameworks, project management, and databases. This project-driven program enables students to learn from experienced faculty who are actively involved in the industry.

The Bureau of Labor anticipates a 22% job growth rate with a median wage of over $110,000 nationally through 2030.

Students will earn a 天美传媒 IT Support Professional Certificate with the successful completion of four courses (CSS 101, ITE 105, ITE 107, ITE 220). Plus, will be prepared for the industry certification (optional choice for students to complete on their own).

A reliable laptop or desktop with a minimum Intel Core i5/AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB-16GB RAM, and a 256GB+ SSD is recommended to ensure smooth performance. Key essentials include a built-in webcam, microphone, stable Wi-Fi, and a 13-15 inch screen. A Windows 11 operating system is preferred as you will need to download and install various applications. Google Chrome is recommended as a browser. While a Mac computer will work you will need access to a VM running Windows for some applications.

Students who graduate with a major in Software Development will be able to:
