The Credit Assessment Program (CAP) at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ conducts credit reviews of non-collegiate instruction, making credit recommendations for successful completers and increasing students' access to nontraditional credit. Students may apply to receive the recommended credit on a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ transcript, either as transfer credit toward a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ degree or on the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Credit Registry.  Non-ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ students must use the fee-based Credit Registry service for a transcript; the associated fees are posted on the Undergraduate Current Fees page in the online College Catalog.

Students cannot request a credit review of a training program; only training sponsors are eligible to apply for a credit review of their non-collegiate instruction or training program. Students should consider alternate pathways, such as Testing and the Portfolio Program, to pursue credit for any college-level learning gained thorough training programs.  

Standards

As a founding member of the (CACE), ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ adheres to the CACE Standards for the Assessment of Non-Collegiate Instruction. Students who have successfully completed learning experiences that other CACE institutions have made credit recommendations for may be eligible to apply for the associated credit.
